Torches, heat guns, RF or dielectric welders, hot plate welders, and ultrasonic welding equipment are all examples of plastic welders that are used to join thermoplastic materials. They either employ three-phase power or single-phase power.
The thermoplastics are joined using heat produced by high-frequency mechanical motion. High-frequency electrical energy is converted into a high-frequency mechanical movement to make this happen. Almost all plastic materials can be joined together with ultrasonic welding.
