A 90-degree turn in the flow of a liquid is achieved with the Rainbow Dream schedule 40 Elbow. It is made of PVC, which is lighter than fittings made of metal and has superior resistance to corrosion and scaling as well as good tensile and impact strength. They are non-toxic, portable, and simple to install and keep up. Solvent cement and primer must be used during installation. They are incredibly resilient as well. Better sound absorption is seen in PVC Schedule 40.

Using transition fittings, PVC can be joined to materials like steel, copper, or cast iron. Because of its smooth internal surface, which lowers friction and prevents material buildup, this fitting offers improved metal flow. It is appropriate for chilled water applications, irrigation, pool and spa systems, potable water distribution systems, and underground sprinkler systems.
