    Description

Crowns are a treatment used to restore damaged teeth. They are cap-like restorations that are made to cover the entire visible surface of the affected teeth. To place crowns, the affected teeth need to be prepared. This process involves removing a portion of the enamel from the affected teeth. Crowns are then made from impressions of the mouth and placed over the damaged teeth, protecting them from further harm, preventing infections, and restoring their strength.

A bridge is a traditional restoration for replacing one to three missing teeth. A fixed bridge is the most common type, consisting of pontic, or replacement teeth, that fill in the space left behind by your missing teeth. The pontic teeth have a crown on each side, which are then used to anchor the bridge securely in place.
